Our Location
As part of planning for Sutton’s future, we moved into a new building that aligned with our vision back in 2023. Together with Mid-West Group of Companies we invested in a 10,000 square foot Suburban Office in Silverwood overlooking the 8th and 9th holes of the Silverwood Golf Course! Our new space was designed to feel modern, inviting and inspiring and to provide a sense of comfort, functionality, and a beautiful aesthetic to make you feel at home when you visit!
A trip down memory lane
Where it all started …
Can you believe it all started almost 35 years ago as Sutton Financial Group?
Founded by Bob Sutton in 1990, Bob believed that if you treat people with respect and always put their interests first, then the business would be a success. We still carry that torch today!
Full Circle
It has been more than 20 years now since Bob’s son Stuart Sutton and Jay Stark joined the firm. We had our first office at 305 Idylwyld Drive North and Mid-West Group of Companies was our landlord! We are excited to be back with Mid-West Group of Companies again, now investing together in 143 Wheeler Street.
Expansion of the business
A few years later, the team expanded and in came Tim Hansen and his expertise in wealth & estate planning. Right behind him came Andrea and her expertise in benefits & pension, introducing another level of services for businesses and their teams.
Our home at Quebec Avenue
It didn’t take long before we outgrew our space. In 2012, we moved to our “new home” at 1633 Quebec Avenue location.
The Assante Partnership & Rebrand
In 2019, we revealed our new brand, partnering with Assante Capital Management to upgrade our services and technology, and giving Sutton Benefits and Pension their own identity to bring clarity to the services we provide for businesses.
