Have I ever told you about my garden at the lake?
One of my most favourite things about our cabin at Big Shell Lake, is that I have enough space to grow a large garden.
Having a garden is a wonderful hobby that I enjoy and take a lot of pride in.
In May, we strategically put the tiny, delicate seeds, into the newly frost-free ground. After that, we count on it to rain when it needs to, that the sun shines when it needs to and that the unwanted “lake critters” stay away to let it grow.
This summer we had a couple of visitors roaming our garden – moles, fox, deer, bears and even a few neighboring cows that broke through our fence!
Gardening has always amazed me, how one little seed, when given what it needs to grow, can germinate, grow into something amazing and be harvested!
When you think about your company’s Benefits and Pension plans you likely already know that for true success, it takes intention, care and attentiveness. A great plan doesn’t design itself, nor does it manage itself.
Think about what your “harvest” will look like. Will my employees see the value in the plan? Will it improve morale and increase productivity and performance? Will they feel safety and security knowing that they have coverage in place for catastrophic events?
If you are unsure how to answer any of these questions, think about this, “Will any of it ever happen with just a bit of luck?” Let’s take a few minutes and talk about what properly crafted Benefits and Pension plan can look like.
“A seed neither fears light nor darkness, but uses both to grow.”
